News from the Beauty World...

*Saks is opening the “Beauty of Living Well” in certain Saks stores, which will carry what Saks calls “natraceutical” products. The initial roll out will feature the following four lines: Canyon Ranch Your Transformation (luscious), Vinita (can’t wait to try), Blue Lagoon (need to try), and Skin Nutrition (will definitely try).

*Ouidad (the curly hair experts) plan to do more expansion this year.

*Mary Kay is allowing clients to customize compacts with more color additions from their mineral wear line of products. The new compact is a glossy black that fades to pink. The compacts were launched earlier this month.

*All My Children, the soap opera, has launched a scent called harmed all My Children. It’s available at Sears.

*SuperFoods Rx is rolling out its whole food based line of skincare at upscale retailers. Products were created to give the skin nutrients to assist with aging. It is currently available at the Studio at Fred Segal in LA.

*EmergenC Cosmeceutical is has revamped its packaging. The new packaging is 100% recyclable paper.

*Joico has released a new anti-aging hair product in Renu Age Defy Haircare System.

*L’Occitane will be rolling out products to select Nordstrom.
