review: NARS Blush Bronzer Duo

so, i named the winner of the Nars Blush Bronzer Duo in Orgasm/Laguna this past saturday. all the while i have been using it in Sin/Casino.

what can i say? i love the sheer berry blush color partnered up with a very complimentary golden, shimmery brown bronzer. most makeup artists will tell you that using two colors on your cheeks creates an amazing and natural look, and i have to agree-- these two work beautifully together!

Nars has put together a perfect combination that isn't to overpowering and gives my skin a great wash of color. i have to let you know as well, a little really goes along way.

Casino, the shimmery brown, is great alone as a bronzer. it's very much the ideal color bronze for me. Sin is a dusty berry with a little bit of golden shimmer in it. i like to mix up the way the two colors look together by swirling my blush brush over both a few times, and then applying it to my cheeks. when i do it this way, i concentrate on the apples of my cheeks then sweeping out to my hair line (very lightly though, no streaks!) i like to then brush my blush brush over my eyelids for natural wash of color. using my crease brush, i then dust more bronzer into my crease to add depth. this is a great way to create a natural finish. add mascara and gloss and you'll look fabulous!

i have also worn it in a very traditional bronzer-under-the-cheek-bone-blush-on-the-apples-of-the-cheeks way. this looks great too!

both colors are available separately, but i think this is a great way to try two colors and save a bit of money. but if you end up using or liking one more than another, well... you know what to do.

Nars Blush/Bronzer Duo is avaliable for a limited time at narscosmetics.com
