i stopped by my local CVS the other day to pick up a few things and left with a few things and a few things more.
what is it with all of the product launches that make it so enticing to to just try the latest and greatest thing? and really, how many mascaras can one company come up with in a month? i find myself intrigued at the displays and really try to figure out what was the brand thinking when they thought of this?
of course, there is nothing more thrilling than a new product. it is new and fun, fresh and oh-so-pretty in it's brand new packaging. i always shave such high expectations, and i am not so thrilled when i find the product isn't very good.
i have only tried one thing i bought, and it turns out to be as good as i was told (it was recommended, so i didn't expect anything less). i can't say yay or nay at this point about the other products, though.
what i can say is there is a feeling of expectancy. a feeling of hope. because all i want is for everyone to do well, and if a company doesn't, well...i don't know about you, but i feel a little sad for them.
how silly am i?
but honestly, it's like watching the gymnast not "stick" the landing in the event and feeling a twinge of sadnes for them. i feel a little bit sad for a company when their product falls flat...
of course, i soon forget because it's on to the next thing...
