it's been a crazy week for me, and i am doing my best to catch up. i thought i would share some new beauty buys i have been using (and loving), but a thought came to me while i was away:
this week's beauty buys should be practical essentials that every beauty-loving girl should always have with her.
so that's what this week's products are: practical, cheap and very purse-friendly. they aren't glamorous things, but they are items you should already be using. these three little gems will keep you looking and feeling great even on-the-go!
Q-Tip Cotton Swabs are the must-have for every beauty-loving babe! you can easily throw a handful of Q-Tips into a baggie to take with you anywhere. whether you need to smudge a line or clean up a mistake, these are the only cotton swabs you should be using. generic brands tend to shed and leave cotton everywhere, and who wants that?! p.s., check out my friend, Cailin, at The Beauty Bunny for an amazing list of other beautiful q-tip uses!
Purell Hand Sanitizer is a great item to have in your purse at all times. at fashion week i met many people and touched many things. after shaking hands, getting in and out of chairs, the shuttle to and from the parking garage, touching the hand rail on the parking garage stairwell, being in close contact with others (ok, you get the idea), i really wanted to keep my hands as clean as possible-- germs are everywhere!--and the last thing i wanted to do was touch my face with any of the extra little friends attached to my hands!
Oral-B Satin Floss is essential because keeping your smile looking it's best will keep you looking your best. if you are on vacation and find your self eating out, a little floss and rinse will keep you teeth healthy no matter what. just sneak away to the ladies room (like you would be doing anyway to touch up your makeup, right?), and do it. because who really wants to get a cavity filled instead?hope you have a fabulous weekend!
