my fabulous fellow bloggers, Jamie (The Beauty of Life), Michelle (All Lacquered Up) and Lilan (The Daily Cookie) have put together an amazing beauty award, and you can participate to determine the winners!the Golden Compact Awards is the first ever beauty awards by the beauty blog community. the awards showcase the best in beauty products that made their debut between january and december last year (2008), and will have winners in five categories: hair, skin care, body care, makeup and nails.
to determine the finalists, Jamie, Michelle, and Lilan chose Amber (Beauty Blogging Junkie) and Carolyn (The Daily Obsession), along with dermatologist Dr. Jody Alpert Levine weighing in on the skincare contenders (btw, the panel will change yearly to keep it fresh and have other bloggers weigh in on their favorite products).
here's where it gets even better: in addition to the voting, there will be a giveaway with some of the most fabulous products among the nominated categories. one lucky voter, drawn at random, will receive a prize package filled with products from the finalists. included are items from Barbar Hair Tools, China Glaze, Givenchy, Herbal Essences, Orly, Philosophy, Prescriptives, Tommy Hilfiger Fragrances, Vera Wang Fragrances and more!
