wow, it's october! if you live somewhere it's cool and fall-like, i wish i was there! it has been so hot here in socal, i'm ready for 70 degree weather, at least!
why don't we move on to this weeks beauty buys, shall we?
this week i'm featuring products from E.L.F (Eyes Lips Face). all of their products are inexpensive (but not cheap, if you know what i mean), and great to turn to when you need to replenish something that you've run out of, or feel the urge to buy something new, but funds are low...
the E.L.F Eye Shadow Brush is an amazing tool to have in your collection! when it comes to makeup brushes in general, there should be some sort of investment made when you find good ones. brands like MAC make amazing brushes, but they can be a bit pricey when you want to buy more than one. well you can get this incredible brush for just a dollar, so you'll definitely have extra $$ to spend on other brushes!
E.L.F All over Color Stick works as a multi-use product. use it as an eyeshadow or a highlighter on cheeks. i've also read that some use it one their lips, but i don't use it that way. it is a shimmery product, and while i like shimmer, sometimes i like just a hint. so, on those days, I blend it with a matte product to tone it down a bit. i have these in Pink Lemonade (which i have to be careful with because it is super pink) and Toasted.
E.L.F Nail Polish actually has blown me away. for the price, only 1$, i think the quality is great. it wears a long time (the longest i wear my nail color is 4-5 days and this polish lasted with no chips!), and i love the the little bottles with the faux drips on the side (totally useless, but nonetheless, cute). Nude, Champagne and Plum are my faves.
have a fabulous weekend!
