Drew Barrymore isn't an actress i think of when the term "fashion-forward" is being used, but last week she took some risks that really paid off. take a look...
for her visit to the Live With Regis and Kelly show in new york, Drew dressed in an asymmetrical striped Narciso Rodriguez dress. i am always a fan of a colored shoe when wearing black or white (or both), which she did-- love it! a tousled updo and seemingly effortless makeup made this look really work.
Drew oozed '40s glamour wearing an Alberta Ferretti gown at the Grey Gardens premiere in nyc. the nude, embellished dress was perfectly complimented by a loose fingerwave hairstyle, and completed with bold red lips.
for her visit to The Late Show With David Letterman, Drew wore a black off-the-shoulder Giambattista Valli dress. with it she wore two-toned cut-out sandals by the same designer, and chose bold red lips and matching red nails to compliment them.
dressed in an Andrew Gn halter gown, Drew attended the Grey Gardens premiere in los angeles. her hair was a bit too stiff looking, but i love her choice of accessories: purple satin peep-toes, a turquoise ring and cuff bracelet and large green earrings-- hippy chic at its finest.
dressed in an eggplant long-sleeved Nina Ricci dress accented with a gorgeous brooch she made the look even more stylish and sophisticated with slingbacks and large shades-- so old hollywood glam, wouldn't you say?
at the the Inside Grey Gardens panel discussion presented by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Drew wore a one-sleeved Elie Saab dress-- and i am loving the fabulous peacock hair accessory!
what do you think was Drew's best look?

I really like the look of her in the asymmetrical striped dress.
I love her hair and makeup in the one-sleeved elie saab dress, but I don't like the dress itself. I actually think it would look better with that other sleeve removed. She's also sweet looking in the alberta ferretti gown.
The rest of the looks don't really appeal to me.
