for your smile: Luster Power White7 Toothpaste & Instant Whitening Mouthrinse

if you're a big tea {and occasional coffee} drinker like me, you more than likely make teeth whitening part of your beauty routine. white strips, kits, pastes, gels, washes, you name it, at some point i've probably used it....

i've most recently used products from the brand Luster Premium White: NOW! Mouthrinse and Power White7 Toothpaste to be more specific.

Power White7 claims that you'll have whiter teeth in just 1 week thanks to a formula of peroxide and therapeutic-grade essential oils. this is true! this is a really good toothpaste, but...

it could use a bit of help.

now don't get me wrong, this award-winner did deliver in the whitening department; i'm just not a fan of the taste. i really didn't like the way my mouth felt after using it. i feel kind of bad for saying it, but maybe it was that i was so used to my go-to toothpaste {Crest Pro Health} that this in comparison just wasn't my cup of tea {no pun intended!}. so that's that. Power White7 is a good product that works. for me it just needs a better flavor.

Luster NOW! Instant Whitening Mouthrinse has my same gripe.

sigh...

i was determined to make sure i brought you an accurate review, so i continued to use it even though it's not the best tasting mouth wash {and it kind of makes your teeth blue for a bit after rinsing with it}; my teeth are whiter having used it, so really, i shouldn't complain, right? i'm just being honest.

we all have different taste buds, so you should try it for yourself! Luster Premium White products can be found at your local drug, mass market and select grocery retailers. visit lusterpremiumwhite.com for more info.

  1. Hi Monique, concerning your article I was wondering if you know about any side effects of the Luster Premium White products? I am looking for a solution to get white teeth without causing overreaction like sensitivity, plus for less than at the dentist.
Thank you for your reply :)

  2. hi Katharina!

i didn't experience any sensitivity. in fact, i don't think i've ever experienced sensitivity using other products either, but i know it's an issue for many. i can only recommend you try it for yourself. thanks for the question ~ best wishes! xo

  3. Hmmm....impressive andinteresting. It sounds like a great product to try out. I always want to have sparkling teeth and most toothpastes don't deliver what they claim such as whitening. I am gonna try this out.
