when it's particularly warm out, it's easiest to keep our makeup simple, but that doesn't have to mean boring! for fun, bright looks {perfect for this time of year} that are also easy to do, leave it to expert makeup artist Mally Roncal to pass along some of her fabulous tips...
~ bright pink lips ~
Mally says "because pink is so bright, you want to make sure that you prevent the color from moving around on your lips." her advice is to apply color on dry lips. use a lipstick first, then follow with liner after to get precision. try Mally Beauty Bright Lip Kit in Frisky Fuchsia {pictured above}. you can also add a gloss for extra shine!
simply line the whole eye area using a shadow stick and then blend with your fingertips. after applying a gold shade in the crease of the eye and bottom lash to soften the look {Mally Beauty Evercolor Shadow Stick in Saddle Shimmer is a gorgeous pick!}, finish by applying at least three coats of a waterproof mascara during the summer months {like her Waterproof Volumizing Mascara}.
~ bronzed skin ~
Mally suggests using a bronzer that is 1-2 shades darker than your natural skin tone. "apply where the sunlight will naturally hit your face, like behind the ears, along the jawline, across the top of the forehead, of the nose, cheeks, and tip of the chin {try Mally Beauty Believable Bronzer}. be sure to finish off the look by adding more light to the face with a highlighting powder, only applying it to your cheekbones." need a good suggestion? Mally Beauty Effortless Airbrush Highlighter and Blush Duo might be one to consider!
thank you, Mally!
so what do you think, beauties? how do you like to wear your makeup {if any} in the summer? let me know in the comments!
