in preparation for her role as a fellow hairstylist to Adam Sandler’s character in You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, actress Emmanuelle Chriqui knew the perfect person to turn to for her own hair: her stylist of over two years Jessica Galvan.with other celebrity clients like Victoria Beckham, Amanda Bynes, Ali Landry, and Paula Abdul, Galvan is an expert at not only hair, but at creating an atmosphere at her salon that attracts clientele who only want the best.
after giving Chriqui a layered cut, "lots of layers to make her hair extra full," Galvan also used extensions because the role required Chriqui’s character to have a longer, flowing mane. "on top of being so beautiful and shiny, Emmanuelle’s hair is very, very full," Galvan says, "but she needed to have longer hair for her part, so i added over four inches of extensions to give extra length."
to create dimension to Chriqui’s color, Galvan mixed two colors of extensions, plus she used a toner with gloss to add shine. to style her hair on the set, Galvan advised Chriqui to use a leave-in conditioner and blow dry with a diffuser. "one thing about Emmanuelle, she is also an expert at styling her own hair," Galvan adds, "i’m always impressed with what she comes up with herself!"
Chriqui continues to visit Galvan regularly for her cut and color. "she’s an amazing client," Jessica raves, "she’s so sweet and confident."
Emmanuelle's hair looks fabulous, and the movie looks like it will be hysterical! You Don't Mess With the Zohan opens this friday, june 6th.

Adam Sandler is classic in his own way, though he tends to do his best work when he stays casual, not trying too hard to be funny or deep, etc.
