your is hair is one way to show the world just who you are, and you want your tresses to look their best. so when you're done styling your hair, what's next? to keep it looking its best all day, a finisher of some sort should be used, of course!

from waxes to creams, serums to sprays, it's always a must {at least for this beauty girl} to complete your  look with a finishing product.

for the past couple of weeks i've been using a gorgeous-making product from Garnier ~ Sleek & Shine Sleek Finish 5-in-1 Finish Serum Spray. this multitasking spray doesn't just leave hair looking smooth {thanks to moroccan argan oil}, shiny and incredibly soft. it also protects against frizz and tames pesky fly-aways.

because i'm sharing this with you, you've probably already guessed that i am in love this product. from first use i was impressed; the more i used it, the more i know that when my can runs out* i'll definitely buy another. i think Garnier has a great line in Sleek & Shine. receiving compliments on my hair the days i've used Finish Serum Spray {from strangers who have no idea what i've put in my hair} makes it even more fabulous.

other pluses regarding this beauty goodie: it can be used on curly and wavy styles and a little goes a long way. the fine mist need only be sprayed for a few seconds {in total} on my hair to achieve results.

hair therapy: Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode

i am not a hairspray user. they leave my hair stiff and flaky, not cool.

i think the last time i used hair spray was in 2001, and now i am more likely to use gel or mousse, and that is on my kids hair!

Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode is and isn't a hairspray. it began as the brainchild of a Bumble and bumble hairdresser who craved a quick-drying hairspray that could finish high fashion updos, yet stay flexible enough to shift shape during the course of the shows.

i have been using this, and to my delight, it really doesn't have any characteristics of a traditional hairspray. it keeps the hold while leaving my hair soft and manageable.

the most amazing thing about this spray is that it can be used with heat, sprayed on your hair before you style to create many styles, and/or after you have styled as a finishing spray!

i decided to try out the hold on this spray, so i gave it a pretty tough test: last through the night while i slept, tossing and turning.

this test isn't a typical situation, but it does prove that it works great as far as hold is concerned. obviously, the curl is still there, and i had little to do that day as far as re-styling.

i really love this spray! i have continued to use it, and let me tell you, it works beautifully; no flaking, no stickiness, i can run my fingers through it, and my hair keeps it's style...it's fabulous!
