Jason Wu Fall 2009

Jason Wu wowed the crowd with his stunning fall collection. i assume there was a high level of anticipation coming off the attention he got from the gown he designed that was worn by Michelle Obama to the inaugural balls.





inspired by fairytales, Wu focused a lot on dresses, and his color palette of soft greys, shades of blue and pops of yellow was gorgeous.






another stunning collection from Jason Wu, i have to say. i look forward to seeing more from this fabulous young designer in seasons to come.

Yigal Azrouel Fall 2009

i'm not very familiar with Yigal Azrouel, but his fall 2009 collection caught my attention.

of his fall 2009 collection Azrouel says, "the evolution of the collection is mostly in the proportions. it's less layered than in the past. i focused on a clean and lean silhouette."

Monique Lhuillier Fall 2009

Monique Lhuillier's fall 2009 collection was a mini version of her usual 30-or-more piece collections of the past. the collection, themed Modern Ballets Russes, showed off pieces that were were feminine but were styled with an edge.







i'm loving the sleeveless black tulle gown. the embellishments are fabulous...





this collection, minus the styling, is gorgeous. i can't wait to see how stars will wear some of them to events in the coming year.
