The cover of Glamour's october issue features three of hollywood's beautiful leading ladies, Rachel Bilson (27), Ali Larter (32) and Diane Lane (43).knowing that each of these ladies is in a different decade of life is so refreshing to see. they all look great, and all feel comfortable where they are right now. seeing them reminds me that i don't have to fear my next age of 29 (sounds so cliche, i know...so, if you don't believe me, you'll find that i started this blog days before i turned 28), and that no matter whet my age, i should be confident in it.
For the issue, Rachel Bilson's makeup was done by Carol Shaw for Lorac Cosmetics. she wanted Rachel's eyes to be the focal point, so she did a chocolate smoky eye with black liner. try Lorac Starry-Eyed Baked Eyeshadow Trio in Superstar and Lorac Eye Pencil in Black.
makeup artist Angela Levin played up Ali Larter's natural glow with a bronzer (try Chanel Moisturizing Bronzing Powder in Terre Epice), peachy blush and shimmery pink lip color.
Diane Lane's face is nearly naked thanks to her flawless skin. makeup artist Kate Lee applied a sheer foundation, a bit of concealer, powder blush and a tinted lip balm (try Neutrogena MoistureShine Soothing LipSheers in Spring Blossom.)
