Heidi Klum at the 2009 Emmy Awards

Heidi Klum never looks bad. her Emmy Awards appearance last (last) weekend proved my point-- even as pregnant as she is, the woman looked, and looks gorgeous. to compliment her black Marchesa gown, the supermodel mommy opted to wear an updo that was a modern interpretation of a 50's style while keeping her makeup fresh and glowing.

hairstylist Michel Aleman used products by Fekkai to create her hairstyle:

started by applying Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texurizing Spray Gel to the hair in order to generate some texture. he then blow-dried the hair and applied Coiff Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray to create soft waves.

he made a strong middle part, while making sure the hair in front was smooth but pulled back softly. next, he formed two pony tails to the back of the head. teasing each ponytail to create volume, he then brought the two together into one dramatic chignon.

the look was finished by applying Sheer Hold Hairspray and Brilliant Glossing Sheer Shine Mist throughout the entire look for a smooth and feminine result.

Fekkai can be found in Nordstrom and Sephora stores and online at fekkai.com

this limited-edition makeup line features 5 eyeshadows, 3 lip glosses, a bronzer/highlighter trio, all-over bronzing brush, kajal eyeliner and ruffled makeup bag-- all complimenting and inspired by the soft, lavish textures and rich colors of his fall 2009 fashion collection. the colors are perfect for the up-coming season-- colorful, vibrant and uber-luxe.

Siriano says of his collection, "this fall the inspiration is egypt: the warmth of the desert, the blue of the nile. it's about the juxtaposition of soft fabrics and strong shapes."

Heidi Klum Shares Her Red Carpet Look for the Oscar's

on monday, supermodel Heidi Klum, along with celebrity makeup artist Linda Hay, launched Victoria’s Secret Makeup Spring Look Kit and demonstrated how to get Heidi’s red carpet Oscar look for under $50!

the look for the night will be all about soft romantic, classic Hollywood glamour (love that!). and to achieve Heidi's subtle, yet elegant look, Hay uses a flirty, pink palate finished with chocolates and nudes for a soft, smoky effect (sounds gorgeous, don't you think?). this will be the first time anyone can achieve Heidi's look with simple step-by-step instructions and only five products.

how, you ask? with the products featured in the Victoria's Secret Makeup Spring Look kit, of course.

the set includes:
Highlighter/Blush Duo in Fresh
Eye Shadow Quad in Devoted, Primal, Rich and Champagne
High-definition Mascara in Blackest Black
Lip Gloss in Blush

this set will be sold in VS stores and online at victoriassecret.com for $49.

and speaking of the Oscars, Heidi has also created a gift for the Best Actress nominees. check it out...

for the 81st annual Academy Awards, Victoria’s Secret partnered with supermodel Heidi Klum to design the Vintage Victoria Gift Set exclusively for the Best Actress nominees. the gift includes a Victoria’s Secret Vintage Victoria Push-up Bra in Wineberry and Blush Pink embellished with a diamond and pearl pin as the centerpiece. a matching thong completes the look.

featuring pear-shaped diamonds and black pearls, Klum designed the fine jewelry piece attached to the center of the new Vintage Victoria Push-up Bra especially for this year’s nominees. the broach, which can also be worn as a hair pin, reflects the hollywood glamour and sophistication that the leading ladies of Hollywood have long portrayed.

the beautiful Vintage Victoria Lingerie Gift Set by Heidi Klum will be presented to the Best Actress nominees the week before Oscars and has a retail value of $6,000.

wow...it really is an honor to be nominated...

visit victoriassecret.com to find out more about the new Vintage Victoria Push-up, and tune in to the Oscars this weekend to see Heidi wearing a red Roland Mouret for Diet Coke's Heart Truth Campaign dress...

nail color of the week: Victoria's Secret Explosive

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Nail Lacquer in Explosive is a fabulous berry-red with shimmer that i am so happy i bought when i did. i'm not sure, but i think VS is discontinuing their nail polishes because i got this at the semi-annual sale for 75% off, and they aren't on the site anymore.

hopefully it just means the shades that were offered are being discontinued, and they will introduce new colors soon. this polish goes on smooth and wears very well; i had very little chipping through hours of typing, cleaning and all of the everyday stuff i have to do.

look of the day: Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum attended a party- to celebrate then new Victoria's Secret flagship store on lexington avenue- in nyc wearing a crazy fabulous strapless dress from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection. i love the embellishments on this dress! she paired the dress with Louis Vuitton heels, and a new, fresh haircut!

her eyes stand out with sheer shadow and bold lashes that really compliment her red lipcolor.

what do you think of her new haircut?

don't forget: tonight is the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on cbs!

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

the Victoria's Secret Fashion show was filmed a couple of weekends ago, and as always, the show looks extravagant and beautiful!

designer Todd Thomas, stylist Charlotte Stockdale, lead makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, and lead hair stylist Oribe all worked incredibly hard to create the looks for this year's show, airing on december 3.

the theme of this year’s show was Return to Glamour, taking inspiration from the history and image of the iconic Victoria’s Secret Supermodel and GLAM-ifying it! the show opened with the theme of Glamour Goddess and continued with Dangerous, The Moderns, PINK Planet, Ballet Des Fleurs, and Black Tie Holiday.

going along with the show’s theme, Charlotte Tilbury created this year’s runway look using products from the Very Sexy Make-up collection. the look was glamorous yet sophisticated and above all sexy. shimmering earth tones were used to accentuate the cheeks and eyes while a soft pink palette was used to offer a bit of sheer seduction to the lips. overall Victoria’s Secret Bare Bronze collection was used to give all the models a radiant bronzed glow from head to toe.

products used:

Mosaic Bronzer in Goddess and Mosaic Blush in Love Life & Jewels

High-Definition Mascara in Blackest Black

Lip Stick in Whisper

Lip Gloss in Cupcake & Intimate

Silky Eye Shadow in Chills, Mystified, Behind the Sheets & Champagne

be sure to tune in to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on december 3 on cbs! check your local listings.
