i have just received a fabulous compliment from my friend Jamie over at The Beauty of Life!

wow, i have been a fan of her blog for a long time now, and i have had the privilege of meeting and spending time with her at the Total Beauty Summit back in may. she is so sweet, and her blog is fabulous. each day she shares a different theme, features great products, and always makes sure to let her readers in on all the beauty deals! the idea that she even reads my blog still amazes me!

Fashion First Lunch Later-- i have just discovered this blog, but it has been added to my reader ever since! written by Beka, a fashion and food enthusiast, this blog gives me an honest glimpse of the fabulous fashion and food nyc has to offer. love it!

All About the Pretty-- i have been following Julia's blog for a long time now. since i heard her being interviewed on a favorite podcast of mine, i was hooked! i knew i would have to read her blog. well, i was not disappointed! she is to the point and honest, gives the best advice, and i tell you...she is a gem.

15 Minute Beauty Fanatic-- Christine amazes me not only because she has a fabulous blog, but also because she works full time (hello, she's a doctor!), and still manages to post several very well-written posts a day.

I'm Not Obsessed-- for a dose of celeb fashion and gossip, without being overly saturated with one or two particular celebs, this one is fabulous!

The Daily Obsession is for anyone who loves fashion, fragrance, heck, anything that is fabulous and worth spending money on. i love the fact that five different women post their experiences so all of us obsessed with beauty and fashion-not to mention their blog- have new perspectives in one place each day.

Makeup Bag-- Erika (along with her daughter, Bree, who writes the Teen Corner portion of the blog) gives us readers amazing content that i look forward to reading each day. funny, and so amazing, i give her kudos for honestly sharing her experiences not only with products, but with her own life, no matter how frustrating she may find them to be.

blog spotlight: All About the Pretty

if you're not reading All About the Pretty already, you should be! Ms. Julia is beyond fabulous as the writer and editor, but words cannot describe her in person.

i had the pleasure of meeting her at the Total Beauty Blogger Summit last weekend, and all i can say is WOW! i love her, really. she taught me so much. from how to create a great manicure using two different colored polishes, to keeping skin looking it's best while flying across the country. she helped me keep my cool when she discovered, and shared with me, what L'Oreal had planned to give us on our beauty tour (i held it together!), and kick-started me back into my yoga practice.

she is such a down-to-earth gal who loves products and informing others about the importance of skincare and great beauty products. she is also an advocate for the "trinity of beauty"- that all of us beauty fanatics can agree with- mascara, blush and lipgloss!
