natural beauty: Pür Minerals Wine Exfoliating Mask

with its "from farm to jar" trademark, Pür Minerals Wine Exfoliating Mask is absolutely lovely. it truly looks, feels and smells {yum} like it was mixed right before being poured into its jar.

this good-for-skin exfoliator contains antioxidants, alpha-hydroxy acids and gently buffs away rough spots with peach seeds and other fruit ingredients {including papaya, grapes and kiwi seed extracts}, to help give skin a more youthful, smooth and glowy look.

i was quite impressed with this beauty after just one use {always a fabulous indicator of how well something works, considering i'm always testing different products} and can understand why it's such a high-rated product!

it's recommended to be used 2-3 times a week, and while this is called a mask, the directions don't specify that you leave the product on your face. just rub a small amount onto wet skin to exfoliate, rinse with warm water, then follow with moisturizer ~ my skin loves it!

if you're craving a luxurious, natural treatment {it's also cruelty, paraben and gluten-free, btw}, the Pür Minerals Wine Exfoliating Mask might be something you might want to check out for yourself.

Simple Smoothing Cleansing Scrub

Simple Smoothing Cleansing Scrub is a gentle exfoliating scrub that i was given the opportunity to try last year (better late than never for a review, right?) and have found it to be one of the most gentle "scrub" products i've ever used.

i enjoy using this one because, unlike other scrubs, it works perfectly for everyday use or those mornings when your skin looks like it still needs to be woken up. when i was using Smoothing Cleansing Scrub, i noticed the rice granuales helped to perk my skin right up without leaving it looking red and blotchy, as some scrubs tend to do (for products like those, i recommend using them only at night).

the only negative thing i have to say about this scrub is that it's not the exfoliation that is going to dramatically change your skin. if you have dry patches or acne, this won't do much for clearing those conditions up. other than that, it's a very pleasant product to use.

review: Juara Rice Facial Scrub

i can't help but love facial scrubs. they help keep my skin smooth and more even-toned, not to mention of course, they also help control oil and keep my breakouts under control. Juara Rice Facial Scrub is one of my favorites because it's gentle, removes my makeup, smells fabulous and makes my skin glow!

i really like this sweet-smelling scrub and the amazing way it never dries my skin out. in fact, my skin feels like moisture has been added to it after i use it-- such a great thing, especially in dry weather. this is great for everyday use, is sulfate and paraben-free, and is suitable for all skin types.

Hemloq Citrus Scrub

Hemloq Citrus Scrub, featured in the december issue of Today's Black Woman, is described as a more creamy formula than traditional facial scrubs because it provides a more gentle-feeling exfoliation. the unique blend features jojoba beads, green tea extracts and chamomile to give the skin a soothing polish.

according to the website, it's recommended for drier skin types, but can also be used by those that prefer a softer exfoliation to leave the skin smooth and supple.

paraben, sulfate and cruelty free, Hemloq Citrus Scrub sounds like an amazing treat for the skin in these skin-drying winter months! if i get a chance to try it, i will be sure to bring back all the details!

More Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit products!

remember i mentioned that Neutrogena had introduced a new Pink Grapefruit Acne Wash?

well, it turns out there is also an Oil-Free Acne Scrub and Body Clear Body Wash to "match"! i had to run out and get them! hello? i love citrus!

developed to treat breakouts on your back, shoulders and chest without over-drying, Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash Pink Grapefruit, gives your skin the acne-fighting ingredients you need with a shot of vitamin c and grapefruit...so delightful! it leaves skin soft, and there is a hint of grapefruit left on my skin...

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Foaming Scrub, Pink Grapefruit contains microbeads to slough away rough spots, while still treating your acne, without over-drying. i like that i can use this as a 2-in-1 step once a wekk when i wash my face.

all of the new Pink Grapefruit products can be found in a drugstore near you.
