Rembrandt

the new Rembrandt line will get your your teeth looking amazing in a relatively short amount of time. well, at least that's what i am expecting...

the new Intense Stain Toothpaste boasts powerful stain-fighting ingredients to remove deep stains from coffee to wine. it is also sodium lauryl sulfate-free, so it is gentle yet effective.

the new Whitening Touch-Up Pen has an angle-tip applicator for easy application while on-the-go, a unique fast-acting Bio-Available peroxide that powerfully whitens, and is clinically proven to whiten in 14 days.

the 2-hour Whitening Kit contains fast acting Bio-Available peroxide formulated to whiten in just two hours, and is the fastest whitening treatment from the brand.

finally, the Whitening Strips, used just once daily, whiten teeth in as little as 5 days. they are enhanced with Formfit technology to conform to the unique shape of teeth and stay in place.

having healthy, white teeth is a simple effective way to look your best! i will be trying all of products over the next week or so, and as i finish one, i will move on to the next, posting my reviews along the way...

are you ready for Heatherette?

i visited my local M.A.C counter yesterday only to find out that a new line will be debuting on thursday. it's none other than Heatherette, the duo who never forgets the glitter, sequins or fabulousness.

Heatherette came out with a bang in late 1999 when Richie (Rich) and Traver (Rains) began collaborating on t-shirts and leather goods as a hobby on their living room floor. Richie showed up at a party in one of his own customized leather tops and caught the attention of a buyer at the downtown store Patricia Field who ordered twenty of them on the spot. the exposure at Patricia Field led to an almost instant celebrity following. rapper Foxy Brown personally asked Richie and Traver to design a custom outfit for her to wear to the MTV Video Music Awards. the word spread and soon Gwen Stefani was featured wearing one of their tops in Entertainment Weekly. Patricia Field asked Richie and Traver to create one of their “Name” shirts for Sarah Jessica Parker’s character on Sex and the City.

since then, they have made their mark in the fashion and music worlds and "are here to stay", according to Women's Wear Daily.

and staying they are, with the new collaboration with M.A.C, this collection is sure to go down as a favorite with the beauty-loving set. everything from listick to pigment, liners to eyelashes, you can choose from Good Girl for day, Bad Girl for night...or be the superstar you are and flip it!

a new direction

the tag line is: "Estée Lauder Sensuous. Every Woman Wears It Her Way."

makes you take notice, right? well, it got my attention.

Estée Lauder is going in a completely different direction with its new women's fragrance, Sensuous. instead of producing yet another floral, the brand is steering onto new olfactive turf with a woody amber scent set to launch in july.

"We're trending in this rich direction to fill out gaps which exist in the Lauder fragrance world," said Evelyn Lauder, senior corporate vice president of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. "When we started life in the fragrance business, it was with a rich amber oriental [Youth Dew]. Then we went sporty with Aliage, and got deeply into florals with Beautiful. We've had a great deal of success over the years with florals, but we believe that this new olfactive area — woody amber — will make Sensuous a global hit."

i'm definitely curious to smell this fragrance. it sounds appealing, but who really knows? while i am mainly attracted to florals, i'm finding that woody scents have captured my attention. depending on the blend, they can be anything from mysterious and sexy, to energizing and captivating. this is a fragrance i can't wait to smell.

the campaign will include all four Lauder spokesmodels- Gweneth Paltrow, Elizabeth Hurley, Hilary Rhoda, and Carolyn Murphy- representing women in their 20's 30's and 40's, to symbolize the wide appeal of the fragrance. the add campaigns will begin running in september fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines.
