fragrance preview: Mariah Carey Forever

Mariah Carey takes her happiness seriously. because of this happiness, her new scent (due out in september) is named "Forever", reports Women's Wear Daily. "i am in a wonderful place right now, surrounded by all the things i love, and Forever captures this moment in time," said the entertainer. her latest fragrance has top notes of neroli, lotus blossom and dewy green apple and will be available in about 2,000 department and specialty store doors, including Macy's, Dillard's and Belk's.

print advertising, shot by Michael Thompson and featuring Carey, will break in october fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines, including Elle, Vogue, Glamour and In Style. a TV campaign, which also features Carey, is slated for the holiday season.

fragrance review: Mariah Carey Luscious Pink

Mariah Carey's first fragrance, M by Mariah Carey was a huge success. i actually still haven't smelled it, but her latest scent, Luscious Pink, is fast becoming a favorite.

i love this light pink floral! it isn't overly sweet and it is definitely feminine. the notes in this fragrance include bergamot, ocean breeze accord, sparkling bellini accord, tahitian tiare, lily of the valley, pink peony, bright blond woods, creamy sandalwood and white musk. when first applied, it smells very fresh and slightly floral. i was definitely happy smelling it. over time, it became more warm smelling musk, but with a sheerness to it.

while i know i'm not the best at describing fragrance, i can say if you're a fan of sweeter (but not too sweet), more floral fragrances then you'll like this one. this is a great fragrance that could easily be worn on a daily basis.

Mariah Carey is on the cover of Elle magazine's august cover looking the most amazing i think i have ever seen her. in the issue, she talks candidly about everything (her new marriage, her fabulous body, and he latest album). she has been through alot in years past, and i think sheer happiness has her all aglow.
