in case you missed the announcement, one of the world's best-known and fabulous makeup artist, Charlotte Tilbury, has launched her eponymous beauty range here in the US. if you're like me, this is exciting news!

with Kate Moss, Jennifer Lopez, Penelope Cruz, Sienna Miller, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Gisele, Rihanna, Natalie Portman, Eva Mendes and more as clients, Charlotte is {understandably} in the top ranks of makeup artists working today. her work is everywhere from runways to print, and now that her makeup is more accessible, my beauty-loving self is giddy and cannot wait to get to know her products for myself.

after more than 20 years in the industry, the Charlotte Tilbury range includes skincare and cosmetics that have been inspired by the glamour of hollywood's classic beauty icons {think Marilyn, Grace and Elizabeth} as well as our modern day counterparts. one thing i love is that Charlotte has created 10 signature looks that will take the guesswork out of creating a certain look. you can buy everything you need together in complete "look" kits or individually to suit your personal style.

there are plenty of standout products in the range, but i wanted to share a few you may want to try first. this includes Charlotte’s Magic Cream Treat & Transform Moisturizer. used and perfected over the years backstage at shoots and shows, Charlotte calls this "a push-up bra" in a jar! the oil and antioxidant-rich formula promises to flood the skin with moisture, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and transform a dull complexion into luminous, glowing skin.

Tilbury tip: Magic Cream can be used to fix makeup mishaps. just dip a Q-tip in to remove any dropped eyeshadow, fix a feline flick or tidy up mascara.

Full Fat Lashes 5 Star Mascara in Glossy Black was created after Charlotte had been mixing up to 5 mascaras {!!} to get the look she wanted {curl, volume, separation, length and drama}. Full Fat ticks all those boxes to give lashes a full, fluttering false-lash effect.

Tilbury tip: always curl lashes before using mascara. it's like a push-up bra for the eyes. also, you need to layer mascara for full effect! use at least three coats and lift from the root to elongate and thicken.



there are so many products in the range {including brushes}, but i won't overwhelm you with it all. hopefully you'll seek it out ~ everything looks gorgeous! i love that Charlotte is a fan of push-up bras, glowing skin, lush lashes and glamour that brings confidence to a woman's life every day ~ she's definitely my kind of lady…

new product launch: U Luxury by Unite

Unite Hair has recently introduced a new product line that boasts some very luxurious sounding products, and named fittingly, U Luxury. this line includes a frizz-controling spray treatment {called D-Frizz}, a pure argan oil and a shampoo and conditioner, suitable for all hair types, including color-treated.

U LUXURY Shampoo is described as a luscious blend of hydrating, protective formulation. with crushed pearl, hawaiian white honey, pure argan oil and coconut-derived cleansers, this blend is also sulfate and paraben-free. the creamy lather doesn't strip hair of moisture or cause buildup, but is fortifying and gentle. developed with panthenol {a botanical extract rich in vitamin B,} it promises vivid shine and weightless volume, while strengthening and invigorating your tresses.

happy wednesday, beauties! here's some fabulous beauty news...

Betsey Johnson has collaborated with Sephora for OPI to create a fun collection and it will launch in Sephora stores next month!

with names like Forever Wild, It's My Pink!, Cartwhells on the Catwalk and XOX Betsey, these girly, standout shades are pure Betsey. less than ten dollars per bottle, the collection also boasts nail tip designs and a six-shade kit. and just when it couldn't get better, the collection's hot pink shade is scented! oh, what a gorgeous & cheerful way to make spring even better...

celebs gather to celebrate the launch of Jurlique's Biodanmic Beauty Range

well..i'm not a personal user of Mystic Tan, but i do have a pretty pale hubby and some friends who love to tan themselves. they all have had their turn in the "booth" and have had great results.
