attention Twilight fans: Kristen Stewart is on november's Allure cover! i think she looks great-- quite different and more glamorous than i'm used to seeing her.

check out this excerpt from the article titled Into the Deep...

Kristen on her role as Bella in the Twilight saga:

"you're so very much with Bella. you're so in her shoes that it's a vicarious experience. it's addictive."



on her refusal to play by the conventional "hollywood" rules:

"i go outside, and i'm wearing a funky t-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, 'what's wrong with her? she needs to invest in a hairbrush...i'm like, don’t you get it? i'm not that girl! like, i never was that girl. it's not like i was really clean-cut last year."



this hollywood actress sometimes has trouble expressing her true feelings when speaking with the media:

"i spend so much of my time guarding against sounding insincere about something that i would die for...maybe i'm overcompensating...i care so much. and it gets reported as the opposite. and even seeing this [interview], they'll be like, oh, she's trying to let us know..."

Kristen is not an actress who has to worry about her weight:

"i don't exercise. i'm skinny fat. i worry about being too skinny."

Victoria Beckham is on the cover of the august issue of Allure magazine, and i have to say, i love it!

not just the fact that it is her (i admit, i was a fan of the Spice Girls when i was in high school), and i love her style, and i think she has an amazing fashion sense, but look at the cover! it's not just her face, it's her arms and her nails, too-- something i haven't seen on an Allure cover in awhile.

inside the mag, Victoria shares that she is an incredibly ordinary girl who runs around the house in jeans and trainers (sneakers), laughs, smiles (!) and is very fun-loving. she has merely created a character, and is nothing like the woman we see out and about in the media.

for her cover look, makeup artist Scott Andrew wanted to create a more unexpected and natural look for the woman who is famous for vamping it up.

he blended a moisturizer with foundation to give her a sheer wash of color, then applied a sheer rosy blush to the apples of her cheeks. by lining her eyes with a black pencil, skimming her eyelids with a metallic beige eyeshadow, and adding black mascara to her lashes, he created soft and pretty eyes. to give Victoria's lips a natural glow, beige lipstick was dotted with a pink lip stain.

i love sarah jessica parker--from her days on square pegs-- that i watched in reruns as a child, to l.a story (i love this kooky steve martin flick), and of course sex and the city. who doesn't love carrie bradshaw?
